Sometimes I Take the Camera When We Go Shopping

I’m sure people think I’m a tourist, in awe of the traffic of Northwest Arkansas.

We were at Soho at Pinnacle, and Jon was trying on jeans while Jack immediately finds the ladder and seeks to injure himself.  Why do kids intuitively seek out the “giant no-no” and then run right toward it?

This is how he feels about being told “no no” on the ladder idea.

Only briefly sorry, Jack thinks “So… maybe let’s buy some shirts! I think Daddy would like this!”

And… the “no no” face again.  Daddy doesn’t want to HAVE to buy 13 grimy-fingered shirts.

“Can I touch the camera?”

“Should’ve known the answer to that.”

“Maybe I’ll just crawl around on the floor and look cute, positioning myself in such a way that my gorgeous eyes will reflect the light and Mommy will forget about saying ‘no no’ and think about giving me a baby brother.”

Then we went outside and I took some portraits of Jon and Jack together.  Come back tomorrow for my own Mother’s Day portrait treat!
