Clara and Jack: The Difference at One Month
Sunday, December 11th, 2011When we brought Jack home from the NICU, he was a tiny four pounds, ten ounces (up a pound from his birth weight). He was one month old.
I wanted a similar image of Clara, to show the difference between the two. Clara weighed eight pounds, 15 ounces at birth and was already ten pounds, 11 ounces by her one-month doctors appointment.
Look at those glorious fat rolls!
I posted more images of our first family portraits on my personal Facebook profile, click through to see them!
Welcome to Fall at Calotype
Thursday, August 4th, 2011Welcome to Calotype.
Here, in our beautiful natural light studio, there’s no hot, unforgiving sunlight bearing down. It’s not 106 degrees. It’s cool and comfortable, and you can wear your new winter coat and hat.
At Calotype, children smile a lot.
They do things they love, like drawing on chalkboards.
They pose like we direct, and sometime they come up with their own poses.
They get sleepy sometimes, but that’s okay.
They’re always lovable, no matter their mood.
Jack is ready for fall in his Knuckleheads cap, Zara coat, Lucky Wang t-shirt (available locally at Three Monkeys Boutique) and True Religion jeans (available locally at Lil’ Rascals Boutique).
Are YOU ready for fall? We’re already booking Portrait Sessions. Call now to schedule your child or family! 417.845.1151
