It’s our Annual Calotype “Back to School” Picture Event!

Do you love yearly school pictures of your children, but wish they weren’t so boring? Every year at this time, Calotype opens the studio for upgraded school portraits!

It’s the same package we do every year:

One 8x10” print, 2-5x7” prints, 2-4x6” prints, and 8 wallets (all one pose). From what you tell us, this assortment provides most everything you need for yourself and family. I’ll take 3-5 different poses for you to choose from (you’ll come back later to view and choose which ones you like).

It’s just one child at a time (no siblings posed together).

Pay up front when you book- this keeps things moving effortlessly and ensures everyone shows up!

Background choices are a clean white background (see above), a medium gray one-of-a-kind artist-painted concrete-look canvas backdrop (below) and another unique artist-painted, warm-toned brown/copper/espresso background. Between these three, I’ll find a backdrop that best suits what your kiddo is wearing.

NEW THIS YEAR

To avoid feeling rushed, I’ll ONLY be photographing- instead of having clients stay and choose their images right away.

In times past, a few people felt pressure to choose quickly, but I’m here to make your life MORE comfortable, not add pressure! So after photographing your child, I’ll have you pick a date to return to the studio/Zoom call, and you can view your images then with plenty of breathing room.

THERE’S NO AGE LIMIT- as long as a child can sit by themselves, they are not too young (or too old!) Don’t let the term “School Picture” make you think they have to be enrolled in a school! This is for everyone! (If you grownups need an updated portrait for LinkedIn, your side hustle, etc- take advantage of this!)

Cost is $55 plus tax and due when you book.

Please note- due to the scarcity of openings for this yearly event, there are no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. I completely understand if your child is sick or some other busy life event happens, so you won’t lose your payment. We’ll just hold it until the next year’s school picture event, or you can use it as credit toward family portraits at another time!
