School Picture Event Highlights

Every year, Calotype offers The School Picture Event. It’s for people who love yearly school pictures of their children, but wish they weren’t so bland and boring and Lifetouch-y. Annually in August, I open the studio for two days of personal, one-of-a-kind school pictures where clients get to watch the process and view their images right away.

25th Anniversary Portraits

Looking for ideas to celebrate a wedding anniversary? What about a Portrait Session together? You can purchase your favorite images in a leather-bound album that will endure for generations to come.

This was actually a test shot where I was metering the white wall. They ended up loving it and putting it in their album. “It looks like we’re dating,” she laughed.

One Year Birthday Portraits: Girl

Celebrate surviving your first year of parenting! They’re only this little once. Bring them in so you can remember how precious they are at this stage.

Plus, at this age they let YOU choose their outfits. Parents of older kids know what I mean.

Family of Three at Big Spring Park (or... Following the Toddler)

When mom booked this Session, she told me she had four requests:

• the family of three together

• baby girl with daddy

• baby girl with mommy

• baby girl by herself

No problem. But baby girl had other plans. 😬 Here’s one of our first images.

After a while, she decided she could get into this.

What do you think? Did we get the four requests that mom had? It may not have been exactly what she envisioned, but she loved them all.
