Timeless Back to School Memories
School photos are cherished traditions - and they don't have to be cheesy! If you're a Memory Keeper (that's what I call parents & grandparents who think long-term and instinctively know how important it is to document childhood) and you're tired of spending money on disappointing photos, you will love my annual Back To School Portrait Event. Every year, I offer a streamlined but high-quality school picture experience that delivers beautiful, timeless images so you can continue to document these yearly memories. You'll be just as proud of these photos as you are of your kids!
To keep it simple, I offer one easy package that should have everything you need:
1-8x10, 2-5x7's, 2-4x6s, 8 Wallets and a digital file- all the same pose.
(To all my wonderful returning clients who have done this for several years, this is the same package I have always offered but I have upgraded it to include the digital file!)
- One child at a time
- I'll take 3-4 different images on a studio set that coordinates with your child's outfit so the portraits have visually satisfying color harmony. Kids can wear what they want- I'll find a background to go with it!
- You'll return a few days later to view the images and decide which pose you want in your package, and you can even purchase the other poses, if desired, at a special one-time price
- There's no age limit- never too young, never too old!
- I only offer this for two days, and I always fill up completely. Please understand that if you need to reschedule, there are no refunds but I will keep your payment as Calotype credit toward another time
- Cost is 75.00 + tax and includes my creative time + a print package + a high resolution digital file so you can print more if needed

New to my School Picture Special and wondering why it's "special?"
A regular Portrait Session with me is $275.00 and includes one image. The School Picture Special is only $75.00 for one image.
Granted, a regular Portrait Session does include more creative time on my part whereas the School Picture Special is way more streamlined. For example, if your toddler is Experiencing Feelings during a regular Portrait Session, we'll wait until they're happy again or simply reschedule- worst case. (It's their world and we're just living in it, I always say). For the School Picture Special, I'm going to take the pictures anyway and we'll laugh together over these special times in our lives.
My regular prices also include as many other subjects as you need- siblings, families, pets, etc but the School Picture Special is for one person at a time.

Each session lasts about 5 minutes to keep it fun and stress-free for your child (and you, ha)
Can I bring siblings or multiple children?
Yes! You can book for multiple children. Just select the number of kids when booking. Keep in mind I only photograph one child at time- there are no group shots at these special prices.
What should my child wear?
Whatever you can convince him to wear. I'll find a backdrop to coordinate.
How do I choose what pose goes in my package?
Right after your Session, you'll get an email with a link to schedule your separate Ordering Appointment. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to review the images with me and decide which one(s) you want. We can meet at the studio or via Google Meet. If you want to go ahead and purchase all the images, let me know and I'll just send them to you directly and skip the wait of the Ordering Appointment! It's an additional 150.00 per child to purchase all the extra digital files I take.
How will I receive my photos?
Purchased digital files are delivered via Dropbox link. Prints will be ready for pickup at my studio in downtown Neosho a few weeks after you order.
